The Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago has a new building at a new downtown address. Named one of the top ten pediatric hospitals in the country by U.S. News and World Report, Lurie Children’s exemplifies the positive effect design has on the human experience. Lurie Children’s new building is designed to be “green,” and hospital leaders utilized evidence-based hospital design principles to increase patient safety, speed healing and enable the most efficient care. Over 20 of Chicago's premier art, cultural and civic institutions helped the hospital design unique healing environments that promote education and discovery.

Join Designs for Dignity on a tour of two recent project sites showcasing the redeployment of NeoCon furnishings and finishes in Chicago. This is a shuttle bus guided tour of the transformed spaces and will feature a box lunch.
Frank Lloyd Wright's Oak Park [TR3]

Enjoy a guided tour of Wright's home and Studio and the historic district, home to the largest collection of Wright buildings in the world, followed by a guided tour of Wright's Unity Temple.
