American furniture company Emeco was founded in 1944 with a specific purpose - to turn scrap aluminum into super strong chairs for US Navy ships. As it turns out, what works for one demanding environment also suits many, many others. Today we still make simple, strong, sustainable furniture in Hanover, Pennsylvania. Designed and built to weather the effects of time, visually and physically - in and out.
